H&S Update – Pupil Safety Before and After School

Hi just to remind you that all children who are not attending clubs should leave the site promptly at the end of the school day. This is for the safety of our After School Club (and the various other clubs) so that attendees can be closely supervised without the confusion caused by other children who are still around.

Junior pupils should not be on site until 8.40am and on arrival they should go straight to class. Please do not drop them off too early as they will then be waiting on a busy road for the gates to open.

Finally, please could you ensure that your children, including younger siblings, are supervised whilst on the school premises before dropping them off or after picking them up from school. Among other safety rules, the school have strict policies on how outdoor play equipment is used and supervised during school times and the equipment should never be used unsupervised. It may be unsuitable for younger children to use at all. The school cannot take responsibility for use of the play equipment other than by  pupils during the school day. Also, please do not allow your children to climb onto walls. Our pupils are not allowed to do this in school time and it may be particularly dangerous for younger siblings.

Thank you for your cooperation.
