Thank you for continuing to support the NHS by keeping your children at home. I hope you are all safe and well and managing to stay cheerful despite the current circumstances. Supporting our children’s mental health is even more vital during this period of ‘lock down’ so I am sending you a ‘Supporting Children at Home newsletter’ which provides ideas to support the children’s wellbeing.
E-safety continues to be a priority with children spending more time online during this period and so please find attached our school e-safety newsletter.
It seems strange to be saying have a good Easter holiday, but I hope you can have some Easter fun at home. Have you considered an Easter treasure hunt with egg shaped clues being left around the house and garden? We will not be setting any work over the Easter holiday but you will find work placed in drop box on Friday 17th April for the following week.
Take care of yourselves and stay safe.
Dear High Down Children
I hope you are being helpful to your parents and displaying our school values of care and kindness. I am sure you all are, as you are our wonderful High Down children. All the staff miss you and we are looking forward to the day when we can be back at school together. Until then I hope you continue to focus on your learning with the help of your family. The teachers are planning more work for you to begin after your Easter holiday to support your learning journey.
Take care of yourselves and remember “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” (Winnie-the-Pooh)
