Please find weekly updates and reminders below:


We are aware that the new highway scheme of road closures around the school has made parking near the school more difficult and there have been a few issues. 

North Somerset council have now provided the following website link for anyone to use to provide any feedback on the changes:  https://www.sustrans.org.uk/space-to-move

School drop off

Please ensure your children remain with you and under your close supervision at all times before school.

School Lunch menu

Just a reminder when ordering your child’s school lunch that the menu is a 3 week rotating menu. Next week will be back to Week 1.  

Allergies & Special Diet

If your child has any allergies or special diet requirements, it is an Aspens requirement that a new form is now completed.  Thank you to those who have already completed and returned one. 

Paper copies are available in the foyer/lobby outside main reception or if you would like us to send one home with your child, please let Lisa know on office@highdownschools.org.

Breakfast/After School Club booking Reminder

Please remember to send back your completed booking forms for next term (Term 5) to highdownasc@hotmail.co.uk.


Absences must be reported by phoning the school on 01275 843969 by 10:00am each day.  Please select the appropriate option to report absence and then leave your message.   Please be as specific as you can regarding the reason.  Obviously knowing the reason for all absences in the current climate is paramount. 


We still have a few laptops/Chromebooks that were borrowed to support with remote learning that need to be returned back to School.  Please return in a labelled plastic bag with your child’s name and class. These can be left in the office foyer/lobby and must be returned by 31st March.
