Weekly Update 12.5.22

Dear Parents/Carers,

Please find this week’s updates and reminders below:

Please always confirm your child’s name and class in any message or e-mail.  This will help us get back to you more quickly.

Sickness & Diarrhoea

We have high levels of sickness & diarrhoea particularly in the Infants at the moment.   If your child has sickness or diarrhoea, they must only return to School when they are at least 48 hours clear from the last bout of sickness and/or diarrhoea.

Census Day – Special themed menu, Thursday 19th May

Next Thursday is census day and the special menu is now available, so please ensure you log on to Aspens and order.

Junior School- Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Street Party-Tuesday 24th May

As part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the Junior school will be holding a ‘street party’ on our playground. This will take place on Tuesday 24th May. We will join together to sing songs and be treated to some performances by our choir and country dance group. We would also like to ask the children to bring in a labelled small plate of food (no nuts please) to eat during the afternoon. Please could the children wear something that is red, white and blue (or all three!) for the day.

FHDJS and the PSA will be providing the children with a Jubilee gift. The children will also be receiving a small book, which will hopefully arrive before the end of term.
