Covid Cases
Numbers of positive Covid cases are increasing within the Junior School. We are working closely with Public Health and have put contingency plans in place including returning to a ‘bubble’ with a Y6 class.
If your child has any symptoms at all they must not come into school and must get a PCR test.
Thank you for you continued support to keep everyone safe.
Face masks
In light of the high number of covid cases, we ask that parents wear a face mask when on site. If you are a parent helper, please ensure you wear a mask when coming through the office area to sign in and also when moving around the School. Thank you for your support with this.
Teams- Remote Learning when isolating
If your child is isolating but is well enough to complete work, you can access the current materials for his or her year group using their Teams account. You should find this term’s remote planner with accompanying maths resources. Assignments will be created so work can be sent in for feedback.
These planners and resources were being increasingly used towards the end of last term so please check that you are able to access through Teams. If you are having any difficulties with logging in then please contact the office.
School Lunches
Please remember to order your child’s School lunch on Aspens by 5:00pm each day. If you miss the deadline or have any problems then please let Lisa know on office@highdownschools.org
*Please also remember to cancel your child’s lunch on Aspens if they are absent from School, particularly if they are isolating and will be absent for a longer period of time. This will help the Kitchen to order and cook the right amount of food. Again, if you miss the deadline or have any problems then let Lisa know on office@highdownschools.org.
Children in Need
Next Friday 19th November is Children in Need so will be a Non-uniform Day in return for a donation. We have registered a donations page with Parentpay and you can use the following links to pay:
