Just a reminder to order your child’s meals on Aspens. The meals are made to order and sent over to class in named bags so it’s really important that the kitchen know the orders in advance. We did have a few spare meals yesterday so were able to give a meal to every child who needed one, but this may not always be the case.
* Also please only order the vegan meal if your child is vegan and you have already informed the kitchen of this.
A reminder to book your slot for parents evening (Tuesday 20th October and Thursday 22nd October).
The booking facility will close at 12pm Tuesday 13th October.
Once the bookings are closed the Class Teachers will set up the appointments on Teams which will be completed by 16th October. Please check with your child’s login on Teams when the meeting has been scheduled for.
The Junior School will be holding their annual Harvest Service on Friday 9th October.
From both the infant and Junior Schools, we would be very grateful for donations of non-perishable food e.g. tinned food (vegetables, soups, beans etc), dried food (pasta, rice, tea bags, coffee, biscuits), jars (jam, marmalade, sauces, chutney etc). To ensure safety, we ask that these are dropped into containers by the infant gates, Y3/Y4 and Y5/Y6 gates in the morning. These will then be stored for several days before distributing to the local food bank
Our Green Team Leader has had to step back from some of the initiatives recently due to other commitments. If anyone would be interested in joining the green team and taking on some recycling initiatives please e mail the school office.
