This year we are once again running an “Apprentice” style enterprise project in Year 6. Children will be setting up companies, designing logos, writing adverts, calculating finances etc. The project will be launched during the week beginning 16th May with a visit from a local business man who will explain how he grew his very successful company and give the children some advice about running their own companies. The children will be working in small groups and setting up companies selling small products or running a game. On Friday 20th May Year 6 will set up and run the stalls. We are asking that children in the junior school bring in some money to spend on these stalls (maximum of £5 in small change please). We will be discussing with the Year 6 children how we will spend any profits. Some will be used towards an end of term treat for the children in Year 6 and the rest will be provided to the Friends.
